Repair Robin is operated by Computer Office Solutions. The introductory beta offers unlimited free repair questions for a limited time. No end date has been announced and you will not be automatically charged.
Firebase Authentication handles your email/password or the basic identity, name and email supplied by Google, Apple or Facebook. The Repair Robin website and its dev preview share the same sign-in identity project with production iOS and Android accounts. Older tester builds may use separate environments. Preview form records are kept separate from production customer records. We do not request your contacts, friends or photos.
Your question and follow-up observations are sent to our AI service and its model provider to produce repair guidance. Do not put passwords, payment details or unnecessary personal information in questions. AI can make mistakes. Web repair history is held in the current app session, not synced to your account. A saved plan preference is stored only in your browser; it is not a paid subscription.
You can receive one repair answer without an account. Follow-ups and additional questions require free signup; registered use remains unlimited during the limited-time offer. We store a random trial identifier in this browser and its hash and usage status on our server to remember the free question across refreshes. That trial record contains no repair text, answer, email or login token, is not linked to your sign-in account, and remains for the duration of the guest-trial program. Clearing site storage removes the browser identifier but not the unlinked server record. Your login credentials and trial identifier are not sent to the AI model.
When you submit a form, we privately store the contact details, service category, area, description and consent choices you provide for up to 90 days. With your required consent, all submitted details are also emailed to the Repair Robin team for review and follow-up. Email copies remain until deleted, separately from the 90-day server records. Professional sharing is a separate, optional choice. Submitting does not automatically contact a professional, book work, publish your profile, approve your business, sell a lead or take payment. Applications and requests are separate from your sign-in account.
Feedback requires a signed-in account with a verified email. We store the feedback, verified email and an account identifier privately for up to 90 days. Firebase verifies your identity; Cloudflare Turnstile processes the security challenge to prevent bots. Feedback does not add you to a marketing list or send an automatic email.
On repairrobin.com, you can choose whether to allow Google Analytics to help us understand visits and navigation. It is off until you choose Allow. Declining does not limit your access. When allowed, Google receives general page names, device and browser information, approximate location derived from the connection, and a random cookie identifier. We exclude repair questions, answers, photos, voice recordings, account emails, form contents, URL query strings and private account or administration pages. Advertising personalization and automatic form tracking are disabled. DEV preview visits are not tracked.
You can change your choice here or in Account settings. Declining later stops future analytics and removes this site's Google Analytics cookies; it does not remove data already received by Google. We also respect browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
You can delete the shared Repair Robin sign-in account from Account. This does not delete your Google or other sign-in provider account, nor separately submitted forms, feedback or team email copies. Review the deletion instructions before proceeding. Contact the team through Feedback about separately submitted records while you still have your login.
Optional Google advertising supports free access on selected practical guides. Active paid Basic, Plus and Max memberships are ad-free; the limited-time free beta remains unchanged. Google must approve this site before it can serve ads, and an ad is not guaranteed. DEV uses a clearly labeled first-party layout sample, which makes no ad-network request and earns no revenue.
Advertising consent is separate from analytics. Only a signed-in account with a fresh, verified Free membership can choose Allow advertising at the end of a practical guide. That choice loads Google's consent system with ad requests paused. Google receives connection and device information and may read existing cookies; no ad request is sent until applicable regional consent choices are resolved. Ads are requested as non-personalized and with restricted data processing. Google and its disclosed partners may still process data for functions such as fraud prevention, frequency limits and measurement. Read Google's consent message and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
You can decline or withdraw using Account & settings or the advertising privacy control on the guide; your access is unchanged. A saved rejection is remembered in this browser, while allowing must be repeated for a new page visit. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control also keep advertising off. Paid, unknown or failed membership checks hide ads. Changing identity, consent or eligibility after the Google system has loaded ends that advertising page session; it cannot erase data already received by Google. Repair questions, answers, uploaded photos, voice recordings and contact details are not included in ad requests. Advertising is not loaded on repair, account, sign-in or payment screens.
